Pleasant Meadows

We have raised and specialized in the Cavapoo for the past 16+ years and have devoted ourselves to better their health and longevity. Our extensive history with the Cavapoo and strong attention to their health has allowed us established solid lines of health tested dogs with up to 5 generations of health-clear parents behind our current lines through breed appropriate health screening and selection. We follow the guidelines laid out by geneticists, scientists, top veterinarians, and what is now supported by Kennel Clubs overseas, in the belief that the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel needs a "genetic re-start" (click to read more) with new blood added in which has been successfully been done in other breeds to improve health. With this in mind, we also raise the occasional combined mixes containing small amounts of Springer Spaniel, Brittany Spaniel, or Tibetan Spaniel with the Cavapoo for more sustainable health, diversity, and similar traits to give our puppies the best possible outcome for a healthy life. Our goal is to raise healthy family dogs, with good easy-to-train and predictable temperaments.

We raise our puppies in our home in order to provide proper socialization, and lots of love, care, and attention for all of our puppies in a family setting to ensure their happiness and quality of life!  Our puppies go home with:

• 1st vaccination and multiple dewormings (vaccination by a licensed veterinarian / dewormings at 2, 4, and 6 weeks done at Pleasant Meadows / 8 week deworming done by veterinarian)

• Full Health Examination by a Licensed Veterinarian (at 8 weeks)

• VET BOOKLET / Health passport from our Licensed Veterinarian showing the puppy's weight, vaccine and deworming given at the 8-week appointment.

• A 2 to 5 year Genetic Health Guarantee (depending on diet as food choice greatly affects the overall health of a dog)

• Expansive Puppy Starter Kit of helpful items for your puppy to aid in the transition from our home to yours! The kit values $320 and it is our *gift* to each family to ensure that our puppies have the best start in their new homes! As of 2025 our kit items will include Canadian and Overseas products!
