Atira is a medium Ruby Abstract Cavapoo. Atira is 81.75% Poodle and therefore she will provide stability of coat type for future generations and allow us to produce an "F1B type" Spaniel / Poodle mix.
Atira is a continuation of one of foundation lines of Cavapoos from our legendary studs Amedeo (Atira's great grandfather). Atira has been selectively and thoughtfully bred by pairing Aurora, our certified therapy Poodle, and Arlo, our Cavapoo stud for the best temperament, health, and fur type.
Atira is the fifth generation of Cavapoo born and raised here at Pleasant Meadows
and she is the full daughter of Aurora and Arlo. Atira has 4 generations
of health-cleared dogs in her lineage.

The heterozygosity test is SO IMORTANT for any Cavalier mix and breeding should only take place when a dog
is at the high end of the typical range for their particular mix to maintain overall diversity and health!
Atira is CLEARED BY PARENTAGE through Canine Health Check (by Paw Print Genetics) for BOTH the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Poodle Breed Profile (diseases commonly carried by the breeds) and also CLEAR for a total of 282 other testable diseases that are uncommon (but not impossible) for the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the Poodle, but are commonly found in other breeds. Both Aurora and Arlo are CLEAR for their entire breed profiles and the additional testing that Canine Health Check offers -- and while it would be redundant and unnecessary to test Atira for the same diseases that her parents tested CLEAR for (because two CLEAR dogs cannot produce a mutated gene) -- we did so anyway as proof that "cleared by parentage" is accurate and that non-existent mutations cannot be passed down if they aren't present within a line.
Atira has been DNA tested through Wisdom Panel to establish that she has good genetic diversity for the Cavapoo hybrid, as well as, GENETIC HEALTH TESTED through Wisdom Panel for a total of 267 diseases and traits which covers all bases and uses another testing laboratory to cross-confirm the health and the vitality in the genes passed down through Atira's parents. We couldn't be more pleased with her results!
